So far this game has been great but one thing is when I try to purchase in game content the iTunes purchasing will not work and said to contact iTunes support so hopefully you can keep the gold event going so I can purchase the gold.
  • unless you have thousands of dollars to throw away, avoid this game!!

this game takes pay2win to a whole new level... you can’t even compete without paying! it starts out subtly... spend $5 for some special things in game... then $20 for more special things... then it’s $99.99 for every deal after that! if you scroll down to the very bottom of the deals list you can find a $19.99 and $49.99, but they are really bad offers of course. i.e. $19.99 will get you 8000 gold... thats practically nothing in this game! $49.99 gets you 20K and some items... I need 80k at least just to speed up the timer 30 days on my lvl 26 citadel build! to add to this, they will give you chests and things for free... but then you have to pay $99.99 to get some keys (with other things). you’ll get 30 keys for that amount, but each chest takes 10 keys to open so don’t make the mistake I did and think that 30 keys will last a long time! there are lots of special buildings to unlock, and if you pay $99.99 to unlock them, there is a good chance you will still not be able to use them because you need to pay at least $99.99 more to get more items so you can. or you have to upgrade them to level 2 or more before they are useful... and guess what that takes?! $99.99 at least... want to unlock another hero? $99.99... there is no in game way to get a lot of these things that I have seen. just pay and pay and pay! The game counts on the social aspects of the guilds to help keep you paying.. you don’t want to let them down or be a burden in them so it encourages you to pay to keep up. if you have lots of money to blow and don’t mind just throwing it away, maybe this is the game for you. if not? then don’t even look at this garbage! it really disappoints me that squaresoft would create this garbage. they used to be a respectable company, but obviously those days are long gone!
  • Same as most ... it could be great

So I’ve been looking for a similar game with the same empire building idea with challenges to do but with a more flexible pay to pay and more control over big paying people not attacking the smaller groups. I’m making use of the funds I have put in but the fact the I can’t get an occasional 4.99 boost and it’s only 99.99 or 49.99 or 79.99 boosts now (and the lower level costs are nowhere near equal to what they should be compared to beginning costs) I’m enjoying my guild now and again I like the concept but as others have stated there should be set levels of purchase. You always have a 4.99,9.99, etc levels to choose from with sales in all levels occasionally and I really think you’d get more money coming in because more able would be able to remain and play... doing that occasional buy And if you’re at level so and so with so much money invested in you can only attack either abandoned empires or empires with a certain range of you. I’ve not been attacked yet but I’ll probably only play till someone does and definitely no more investment

  • Scam

I was a fan of this game until they offer an in app purchase that did not give me what it offered. I contacted customer support and they assured me that I was “confused” and that everything was working as stated. I sent a screen shot of the advertisement to them. They changed the wording of the advertisement after I sent them a screen shot. To me this means that they made a mistake by wording it incorrectly in the beginning. They refused to give me what I paid for. It is not my fault that they advertised something incorrectly. No refund or anything. They simply continue to tell me “sorry for the confusion, everything is working as advertised.”

  • Pure pay to play

    By Dakota20091001
While technically this is Free to play, this game is only for those willing to spend often. As someone who spent 5$ and then 20$, i now see offers of $50, $80, and $100. Nothing else. The game itself is confusing as there are multiple buildings that are pay to open, so the Easter event was a complete waste of time unless you had one of those open.

  • Issues

Need to talk to someone that just doesn’t give you a bull crap response about a serious issue that needs to be fixed. They all give same response that doesn’t fix the issue here.
