Thank you to the developer for continuing to build this beautiful app. RSS is not as popular as it used to be, but for those of us that rely on it, having a current, powerful tool is critical. If you love RSS, you want this app.
  • Not support .gif

The .gif were missing, its position being replaced by a blank box. Also, some videos that can be directly play on inoreader were substituted by their snapshot without any notifications or identification. Two issues mentioned above are worth two stars. Other functions are perfect.
  • The RSS app I keep coming back to

I have a folder full of RSS apps and like to try out the new features as each app gets updated. However, I keep coming back to Unread for its gestures and ease of use. This remains my favorite RSS app. Having said that, I’d like to see its design get a bit of a refresh and be more in line with current iOS standards. The app’s design was ahead of its time when it was released, but I feel like it’s stagnated a bit since. It would also be nice to have Dynamic Type support in the app, as well as support for different fonts, including the system font.

If you had read about my reviews earlier on this version 1.8.2. They were great in fixing major bugs issues such as feedly login. I do not usually write a lot of reviews on application in Apple AppStore or Google Playstore, if I do it’s because the application maintain a sickly consistency which does not break a lot and provide useful features. This keeps me to provide good reviews. The developer focus on updating the application to device model fast. Fixing bugs and continuous maintain on the readability are some which I would give thumbs up to. The themes provided are sufficient for readers for different time of reading such as morning or night. Some great features I wish they would consider not a must want • When initiating a left swipe to access the quick menu when reading an article it would be great if the height is adjustable ( or a rethink on how to perform single hand operation to reach these menu easier ) my hands are small and it does help to benefit bigger screen mobile phones or iPhone 6s Plus kind of resolution • Readability mode when tapping on title, I really hope it’s possible to configure gesture such as finger double tap to initiate the mode.

I use Unread along with Feedbin for a fabulous combination. I like how the swipe interface disappears. I’m happy to see continued upgrades now that the app has a new developer.

You cannot. Best RSS. Great color themes (love Halloween for night). Fantastic layout. Simple one handed navigation. It’s the best.

Have since gone back to mostly using Feedly. I love everything about the Unread interface with the exception of the article list. It just doesn’t show enough articles and requires a TON of scrolls to get through your feed. It is quite literally a pain to use this app if you follow more than a few feeds.
