    New messages don’t show up in my messages folder or show hat I have a new one within a thread and I’m not getting notifications when they come in as of today 9.19.18. Care seekers should have a time limit to have a job posted just like caregivers have to renew there availability 4 weeks at a time. Care seekers should have to email their own message or a generic message stating message or application was read and they are interested or not interested. Applying to multiple jobs and not getting a response or a read receipt is a terrible feeling. Accurate start dates should be posted and if a job posting is past that posted start date it should be removed immediately. Some people have 12-20 apps out there and it’s past start date with no replies to the applicants or showing the message was even read.

    I don’t know if this is a recent problem but it happened after the update. Nothing is loading. I’ve received a message that i can’t get to because it won’t load. The website is all crashing.

    It seems impossible to be able to communicate with parents on this app. I don’t see why they can’t just make it as easy as using messenger like you can through Facebook. And it’s ridiculous to have to pay to get a better chance of families viewing your profile. But this is how they make their money by taking ours. So annoying.

    I never write reviews. But I’m very disappointed with this app. First of all, I submitted applications to several jobs. And none of them have shown up in my messages box. It says I need to upgrade to premium plan to receive messages. So I paid for the 1 month subscription. It took my money. But still nothing in my message box. It still keeps saying upgrade to receive new messages. I hit the button to “restore” premium plan. And still nothing. You guys took my money. And I still cannot reach out to the job prospects. Fix your app and shame on you for taking our money.

    I can’t even get past the initial profile creating page.... it has texted me a code to verify my phone number 16 times and keeps bouncing back to the same page. Very frustrating!!!

    Highly disappointed at the “new” app (caregiver) at many things but especially at how it will not let me respond to messages from potential jobs. It shows me I have a messages but will not let me even open it. I downloaded the new caregiver app and it has been nothing but a disaster. This is coming from someone whom has been using care.com for over 8 years. It saddens me that maybe families are thinking I’m irresponsible for not replying in a reasonable time frame... “only if they knew that I’m trying to!”

    I upgraded to premium and when I hit restore purchase I was waiting for 10 minutes while it was loading! And nothing. I payed $25 for nothing
