The Skype you know and love has an all-new design, supercharged with a ton of new features and new ways to stay connected with the people you care about most. What can I do with Skype? • Messaging made awesome: More than just text. Send photos, videos, voice messages, emoticons, Mojis and more. You can also respond to any message from your contacts with reactions. • Great for groups: Add your favorite people and start chatting. Use groups to plan together, play together, for staying in touch or just for hanging out. • Call everyone - Skype, mobiles and landlines: Free* video and voice calls make it easier to stay connected with friends and family. You’ll also enjoy low calling rates to mobiles and landlines worldwide with Skype.  • Never miss a moment with quick capture: Quickly swipe to capture photos and videos. Make them your own by adding emoticons, stickers and annotations. • Share Highlights: Keep others updated with Highlights from your day. React to any highlights with awesome emoticons or send a private message about that highlight. Your highlights only stay visible for 7 days to your followers. *Skype to Skype calls are free. Operator data charges may apply. We recommend using an unlimited data plan or WiFi connection. Upgrading to the new Skype may result in the deletion of content from older conversations. To save photos and videos that were previously sent or received in an older version of Skype, save that content to your camera roll/photo gallery before upgrading to the new Skype.

  • Better than nothing but still...

It seems like with each update the UI gets worse. Why change it? I'm not interested in having to spend time exploring or "getting to know" the app I rely on for business and important family calls. The old UIs worked fine...easy and intuitive. I wish I worked at Skype so I could have pushed back against the new stuff. We does "we listened to you" usually mean the addition of garbage we don't want and UI changes which mean having to relearn the app?
  • Skype app. Needs to be more logically laid out

    By Bobby Summerfield
Please make this simple to use an obvious trying to find the keypad ETC
  • Rethink UI

I thought I was “upgrading,” but the new Skype APP lost all of the features I loved and is nowhere near as user friendly. Change it back. I’m already starting to not use it and most of the people who I used to be able to contact on Skype almost now never use it.

Abrazos,
  • Skype is behaving like a virus

    By Diaspora
I have an iPhone X and Skype has been getting worse with every update. For example, when I’m in the app Skype keeps forcing me to stay in the app. When I attempt to access safari, or mail, or any other app Skype keeps popping up for 10-15 times in a row until it finally allows me to exit. It’s so frustrating. This new UI is also incredibly clunky and non intuitive. I miss the days of old and simple Skype app, this new version is like a vomit with bright colors
  • Skype over Discord

    By Boomsickle
I would like to inform you today that Skype is better than discord.
  • Can’t text.

    By Njnjacoolstuff
So whoever I am chatting with someone over the keyboard, it usually works, but then when I chat on a group chat, it doesn’t work. Please fix this!
  • Phone number + name

    By Awc77
For the life of me, If you make a Skype to land or cell phone call, and dial it from the dial pad, there is no place to assign a Name to the number you just dialed. This is awful! This in the new- late 2017-2018 version of Skype. How do you assign names to numbers called? Fantastic- or maybe they forgot this little detail.
  • Ticking timebomb lack of privacy settings

    By Jayznzjdjd
By default they suggest friends of your contacts to you. For example your partner's ex. This happened. This is REALLY unwarranted and a ticking timebomb. YET in order to turn off this egregious setting, you also must become unlisted, which is a pain in the butt. It's two separate settings, why bundle them? Skype as it is today is a threat to relationships because the deliberately drag up drama from the past by publishing your friends list to other contacts. NOT OK!
  • Audio

    By Clifford Helms
I think there should be a option where you can change the overall audio of skype so that you can hear other apps better for example: if the other person recommended a video and you got to watch it, you can adjust the skype audio to have better clarity and sound volume on the video.
