How much does it cost if you sign up for the 3 month package? Do they just take it out of your bank account every month?
  • No one online

There isn’t anyone in my area that is online or active on their profile
  • Misleading

I subscribed to match for one month. During my time I had a bit of luck and even went on a few dates. Ultimately though, the experience with match was poor. The service seems very misleading, and I question how many profiles are of real, active users. I went 2 weeks out of my month subscription with zero notifications or replies. I didn’t auto renew my subscription, and literally the DAY my subscription expired I received 10 new notifications stating that someone liked or viewed my profile. Regardless I didn’t renew until almost a month later. Excited to see the new matches or potential matches, I signed in. To my displeasure the NEW notifications I received were actually notifications for profile views and likes I had ALREADY GOTTEN during my first initial subscription. Match seemingly deliberately mislead me into thinking my new notifications were from new interactions when they were actually from things I’ve seen before. WATCH OUT.

Match keep showing guys that not in my requirements such older guys, guys that have children, guys who don’t meet age requirements, over weight guys and guys of a type of race that I’m not interested in. I personally don’t think any of these guys on match are looking for serious relationship looking for a good time which sex.. not a good investment

It really isn’t worth the amount you pay per month. They promise a lot, but deliver on absolutely nothing. Their matching algorithm is a joke. If you want an online dating platform that has a legitimate algorithm, go with ok Cupid. They at least ask you personally questions in order to attempt to match you with people. Match just picks random users without any rhyme or reason.

Why there’s no handsome guy and did your company take my money?? And there no guys that are attractive send me back my money for 1 month and for 1 month how many money? I want you guys to send me people from far away.
  • Awful. Don’t waste your time on this scam

I just submitted a claim to PayPal to refund me on this scam. Here is the claim that was sent: I want my money back for this scam. You’re taking people’s money for absolutely nothing, a promise of finding someone. The site is filled with fake and inactive profiles. You send a message to someone and they don’t answer back, they say you’ve matched with people, so you contact them and hear nothing, I at least expect to get an “I’m not interested “ in return. This site and everything they tout is a big fat lie. You can tell the fake profiles by the canned descriptions they give in their profiles. As a 10+ plus customer of PayPal I think you should stop doing business with and the scam they run. They can come back and say but we have stats to prove. Well throw enough crap at the wall and it will stick. All in all you should be refunding me in full, I will be doing nothing but talking bad about this company. I don’t need a developer response, you guys are crap, plain and simple.
  • If you’re a guy worth your salt, just save your money and time.

I think this is just a problem in general with dating apps but this one takes the cake. I can think of several other things I could have spent my $80.00 on than this app. This app seems to be full of nothing but fake profiles, self entitled single moms and younger obnoxious capricious little girls, all jocking for that top tier shelf of men. Which is great if you’re 6’6” and cut abs, hey, not gonna hate if that’s what you’ve got going for you. But for the regular joe, the trash pile of choices on this app is delusional and out of touch with what they think they bring to the table. Out of sheer curiosity, I wondered through male profiles to see what women were “bombarded” with and boy... then it hit me. If I wouldn’t go to the crappy side of town, in the worst played out club around that is full of d-bags, to meet someone in real life, why in the F would I shell out my money to replicate that experience online?! It really is that simple.
